In today's rumor roundup, we reveal what Vince McMahon said to the WWE Superstars before RAW about the Crown Jewel travel issue. There's also news about a Superstar potentially returning from injury, as well as the reason for WWE making a statement about Saudi Arabia.

All this and more in today's WWE rumor roundup:

#1 Vince McMahon, Seth Rollins talk backstage before RAW

Last week, after the Crown Jewel PPV, several of WWE's Superstars and crew had to stay back in Saudi Arabia due to a technical issue to the charter plane that WWE had hired. There were reports doing the rounds that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon had a disagreement with the Saudi authorities which caused the Saudis to ground the plane.

But, WWE have refuted those rumours, saying that the delay was purely because of mechanical issues to the plane.

Ahead of RAW, Vince McMahon reportedly addressed the RAW Superstars backstage, where he assured them that it was only issues to the plane that caused the delay, as per Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The WWE Chairman reportedly told the Superstars that the 40 minute TV delay in Saudi Arabia was a technical issue and that the Saudis decided to do that.

Seth Rollins also spoke in the meeting and told his fellow Superstars to not reveal whatever happens backstage in WWE on social media. Rollins seems to have taken over the role of the locker room leader and has sent a message to his fellow Superstars about how they conduct themselves on social media.

#2 Reason why WWE issued Saudi Arabia press release

WWE issued a press release on Monday, revealing that Vince McMahon's promotion had extended their deal with Saudi Arabia till 2027.

Many fans and pundits were surprised by the timing of the press release as WWE had just returned from the Crown Jewel PPV, which had quite a few issues away from the ring. According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE's decision to put out that press release was to keep the company's stock from falling.

Following the Saudi Arabia PPV and the numerous rumours floating about, WWE's stock prices dipped, which would have worried the WWE management. The press release did not reveal anything new, but only reiterated WWE's deal in Saudi Arabia, where they will host two shows every year, with the deal going till 2027.

WWE have so far hosted four shows in Saudi Arabia in the last two years, the latest of them being Crown Jewel, which was held last Thursday.

Shotzi Blackheart was offered a contract by William Regal a few weeks ago, and she has previously wrestled in EVOLVE.

Indi Hartwell is an Australian Superstar who has previously wrestled in Shimmer.

Elias has been out of action for over a month, with his last match in WWE coming back in September. But, we could see him back in action, as per Dave Meltzer.

Meltzer said that his sources had told him that Elias would return by the end of October, and now that October has passed, we could see him soon on WWE television.

Elias was drafted to SmackDown in the WWE Draft last month.

AJ Styles recently revealed what actually happened in Saudi Arabia, and now Natalya has revealed details on the travel delay.

Natalya was a part of a historic match in Crown Jewel when she faced Lacey Evans in the first-ever women's match in Saudi Arabia. In an interview with Peter Rosenberg, Natalya revealed that she and the rest of the WWE Superstars were told to deplane due to a mechanical issue.

"After the show, we went to the airport to board, and there was a series of mechanical issues. We were told by the flight attendant, 'Hey, everybody has to deplane.' So we deplaned, and they took us to a hotel. We stayed at a five-star hotel. We deal with so many travel issues. I was told to deplane because of a mechanical issue and that's basically the extent of it," said Natalya.

She said that she wanted to be around her WWE family and that they were "in it together". "For me, just staying with the group and making sure we're in it together. We traveled on a charter there, so, for me, being with everybody and staying with the group and waiting until they fix the situation," said Natalya. (H/T Fightful)
