Welcome to another edition of the WWE Rumor Roundup, where we will take a look at the most interesting stories of today.

#6. WWE do not want Vickie Guerrero back in a permanent role

Former SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero has become the latest entrant in the world of wrestling podcasts. The wife of late Eddie Guerrero has entertained the fans in multiple roles which included being a manager to Superstars such as Dolph Ziggler and Edge, as well as a competitor inside the ring.

Vickie took leave from the company in 2014 and has stated that she had informed the company of her decision well in advance as she felt it would be better to leave on her own terms instead of getting fired by WWE.

In her podcast, Excuse Me: The Vickie Guerrero Show, she revealed that she had wanted to come back to WWE in a permanent role but unfortunately the company was not keen on the idea:

“I wanted to leave my doors open because it was important for me to do that. It’s such a surreal thing because I keep going back, and I’ve asked WWE if I can go back [permanently] and they told me ‘no’. I’m just going to keep my doors open and if they ever ask me [to return], yeah, I would do it in a heartbeat because I miss the ring all the time. I don’t miss the politics, but I miss the ring.”

#4. Roman Reigns comments on a possible match with The Rock

When we talk about dream matches, arguably there is no other match which is more anticipated that The Rock facing Roman Reigns. While the two are related to each other in real-life, a match against The Great One would be exactly the kind of rub that will elevate The Big Dog to the level that WWE has always wanted him to be at.

The Brahma Bull will finally be making a return to SmackDown on the season premiere of the blue brand on FOX this week. This would be the perfect opportunity for WWE to lay the groundwork for this match.

Here is what Roman Reigns said on GQ Sports’ ‘Actually Me’:

If it’s done right. Obviously, with the star that he is, where he is at in his career, it would be huge. It would be great. But, you know, we’re family, so it has to make sense. And free the guy up. Can we give him a break?! Can he take a day off?! If he can get a week off, we might be able to make it happen. So, doubtful.”

#2. Brock Lesnar's future brand

While speculation is rampant regarding Brock Lesnar possibly winning the WWE Championship from Kofi Kingston FOX and becoming a mainstay on the blue brand, that might not be the case entirely.

SportsKeeda's Tom Colohue has stated that it is not certain if Brock Lesnar will remain on SmackDown. Here is what Colohue said while talking to Gary Cassidy on Dropkick Diskcussions:

Even before this show [RAW], I was told, ‘Maybe don’t take it as read that Brock Lesnar is a SmackDown guy now.’ In fact, don’t take it that anyone is an anything guy right now. We saw Heavy Machinery getting a RAW Tag Team Championship match. We’ve got The Revival, who are apparently a RAW team, as SmackDown Tag Team Champions now. Going into the draft, there is no 'Wildcard' because no one is anything. No one is RAW, no one is SmackDown.

With the Draft taking place on 11th October on SmackDown and 14th October on RAW, a new era in WWE will begin and it will be interesting to see what role Lesnar will play in it.

Sasha Banks made an impactful return to WWE last month after being absent from the company for around 4 months.

Banks is now involved in a blood feud with former friend Becky Lynch for the RAW Women's Championship and will be facing The Man inside Hell in a Cell this Sunday. The Boss had revealed that the reason she needed a break from WWE was to start enjoying life again and has returned better than ever.

Talking to Cool Greg on ‘We Have Cool Friends’, the former RAW Women's Champion revealed what her backstage equation with The Chairman of WWE really is:

Since I came back, he gave me a really good contract. We have this great relationship, because, you know, we talk money. He wants me to make him cool so I'm just helping him with his jokes, we'll text jokes to each other every single day. He sends me a private jet. He gave me my own bus. I'm just so blessed. I'm probably the first-ever woman [in WWE] to have her own bus.
