#5 Former WWE star Dawn Marie almost got in trouble for letting Randy Orton sleep in her hotel room

Former WWE Superstar Dawn Marie recently spoke to D-Von Dudley on Table Talk and discussed an incident that almost led to her getting fired. Marie revealed that she had allowed Orton to sleep in her hotel room a few times as the young superstar did not have money for his own at the time.

"I almost got into a lot of trouble because Randy [Orton] didn’t have a room or something and he probably lied, just trying to get in my room, who knows? So I felt bad for him, you know, because he was broke. Not that he’s broke now, he made up for it. So I was like, ‘Randy, okay, fine. You can sleep on the chair in my room!’ And I was like, ‘If you come anywhere near my bed, I swear to God I’m gonna kill you.’ So I let him do it like a couple different nights, I let him like sleep on the chair," said Dawn Marie.''

Marie noted that she could've been fired had somebody reported the incident to management in WWE.

Dawn Marie also spoke about how the working environment in WWE is different from earlier times while she was still a part of the company. She noted that today's superstars have a great deal of freedom and they can upload stories with their partners while in her time 'sleeping with the boys' was not allowed.

Marie also said that while female superstars today get glorified for getting pregnant, she was released by the company in 2005 while on maternity leave.

#4 John Cena Sr says Otis could be leaving WWE soon

Former MITB winner Otis is currently having a solid run on WWE SmackDown as part of a team with Chad Gable. However, John Cena Sr. thinks that the Blue Collar Brawler isn't going to be a part of WWE for very long. Speaking to Boston Wrestling MWF’s Dan Mirade, Cena Sr. said that Otis could leave the company soon.

“Bye [pretends to wave goodbye],” Cena Sr. said. “Hang on, he’s not long for the [company]. I think so, I think so [we could be discussing Otis’ departure soon].”

Otis' former tag-team partner Tucker was recently released by WWE. While the former MITB winner was featured regularly on WWE television after the Heavy Machinery split up, the same could not be said about Tucky.

Otis received a heavy push last year when he was featured in a prominent storyline with Dolph Ziggler and Mandy Rose. However, all three superstars have been removed from singles competition and were put into tag teams.

It remains to be seen how well WWE's experiment of pairing Otis with Gable works.

#3 Possible reason behind Eva Marie's return to WWE

Eva Marie made her return to WWE on RAW this week. She had left the company in 2017 to try her hand at a career in films. While the majority of WWE's fanbase has been upset with Marie's return, Vince Russo explained why the company wanted her back.

Speaking on SportsKeeda's Legion of RAW, the former head writer of WWE stated that hardcore fans will not like her because Eva Marie isn't a good in-ring worker. However, Russo said the reason Marie is an asset to WWE is that she is one of the few people who has the 'it factor.'

"I've come on here and I've talked to you many times about the 'it' factor. This girl has the 'it' factor. I could have done many many things with this girl but they cannot make her a babyface because their audience will cr*p on it because she can't work," said Russo.

Vince Russo also stated that had Eva Marie been a part of WWE during the attitude era, she would have gone on to become one of the biggest stars.

#2 Did Jeff Jarrett threaten Vince McMahon in WWE?

There had been rumors that Jeff Jarrett had to 'threaten' Vince McMahon to get his paycheck before he left WWE in 1999. However, speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Double J made it clear that no such thing happened and all these rumors are baseless.

"Vince didn’t have to pay me, the night of the Chyna match. He’s the promoter, he’s the boss. You know, “Jeff held Vince up!” Really?! With a thirty-eight or a forty-five? I mean, come on, that’s so preposterous! But he gave me the check, I went… I tried to give my effort, as much as is humanly in me, each evening. And I did it that night as well," said Jarrett.

Jarrett further clarified that there was never a need to bury a hatchet with McMahon as the two men parted ways on good terms. The Hall of Famer remembered hugging McMahon before leaving and there was no bad blood between the two.

Jeff Jarrett left WWE in 1999 after his contract came to an end. In his last match, he dropped the IC Championship to Chyna.

As reported previously, Mark Carrano was released by WWE after he sent the belongings of released superstars in trash bags. Carrano's firing has led to WWE referee John Cone getting a big promotion.

PWInsider reported earlier that John Cone had been part of the talent relations team earlier, but with Carrano gone, he would be getting a promotion in WWE. Cone is now second-in-command after John Laurinitus in the talent relations team of WWE.

PWInsider added that John Cone's release had since been rescinded, and the WWE referee is now second-in-command after John Laurinaitis in Talent Relations. Cone was previously the Manager of Talent Relations, but Mark Carrano's firing opened up a spot, facilitating his return to the department.

John Cone will continue to remain a referee on-screen in addition to his new backstage role.

Cone has had the spotlight shine on him many times during his career in WWE. His proudest moment to date would have been when his son Nicholas won the RAW Tag Team Championships alongside Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 34.
