NXT bolstering its roster for USA Network debut

WWE is gearing up for NXT's big move to USA Network on September 18th, as the show will air live for two hours every Wednesday night beginning in just one week.

With NXT moving to USA Network on Wednesday nights, WWE is looking to beef up the NXT roster as the show will not only be expanding to two hours but will also be competing head-to-head with All Elite Wrestling, which will be debuting its new television show on TNT beginning on Wednesday, October 2nd.

Last month, former WWE NXT UK standout Pete Dunne announced that he had relocated to Orlando to become a permanent member of the NXT brand, and he had the following to say on the brand move.

"For me, this all feels like a fresh start. So even though I’ve been a part of the NXT brand before, and I’ve done it alongside NXT UK, and we kick-started that. I had a lot of goals within the UK, but now this is my focus. So it feels like this brand new fresh start." (Thanks to LWOPS for transcription)

Top NXT UK talent moving to NXT

According to a new report from Squared Circle Sirens, there has been a lot of talk recently that former WWE NXT UK Women's Champion Toni Storm will be appearing more on NXT once the show moves to USA Network, and will be featured less on the NXT UK brand.

The report comes on the heels of Toni Storm losing her NXT UK Women's title to Kay Lee Ray at NXT UK Takeover Cardiff, signaling a possible brand switch for Storm once NXT moves to USA Network.
