WWE Rumors: Blockbuster trade to take place tonight during RAW?

Things might be shaken up even further on Night 2 of the WWE Draft
Things might be shaken up even further on Night 2 of the WWE Draft

While the first night of the WWE Draft had some big moves like The Fiend and Braun Strowman joining Friday Night SmackDown, RAW could soon receive a major shakeup of its own. According to WrestleVotes, there could be a "blockbuster trade," during the second half of the WWE Draft tonight on RAW.

Changing things up so soon?

SmackDown was filled with ups and downs during the first night of the draft. Early draft picks followed the exact list of the draft pool that WWE had released to news outlets, spoiling the event for some.

Another strange situation involved former Women's Tag Team Champions, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. Bliss was drafted at the top of the third round, but no mention was made of her tag team partner. Fans and Cross alike had to wait in order to find out where she would land. Later in the draft, Cross followed Bliss to RAW. This left many wondering: If they weren't going to be split up, then why weren't they drafted together as a team?

Since things may have been seen as a little rocky during WWE's big-time event, WrestleVotes is reporting that a blockbuster trade could certainly shake things up. Could WWE alter some of the moves that were previously made on Friday Night SmackDown?

A big deal

WWE definitely treated its draft as a huge deal, on par with the NFL Draft. Both RAW and USA manned one draft war room, while SmackDown and FOX manned the other. If that wasn't enough, both celebrities and FOX analysts alike were featured in various segments throughout the first night of the draft.

If WWE feels that they made a mistake with the first day of the draft, then a big trade might be the company's way of making up for that. Things are still salvageable, especially since that was only the first part of the draft. With the report by WrestleVotes, big names that were previously drafted like Becky Lynch, The Fiend, and Drew McIntyre might just be on the move once again. Regardless of whether that happens or not, expect the landscape of WWE to significantly change after tonight's RAW.
