Jindar Mahal won the No.1 Contender spot for the WWE Universal Title this week on RAW

What’s the story?

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Ryback went on record in the recent instalment of his podcast ‘Conversations With The Big Guy’, saying that current WWE Superstar and No.1 Contender for the WWE Championship, Jinder Mahal, might need to be careful about drug administration guidelines before going on to insinuate that Mahal was doing steroids.

In case you didn’t know...

In the course of a few weeks, Jinder Mahal came from being a jobber to having a title shot against Randy Orton at Backlash, given that Randy survives the House of Horrors match at Payback this month.

This sudden push surprised the audience as well as the critics but it was later discovered that WWE did this to boost their popularity in India which has a huge number of wrestling fans already.

The heart of the matter:

Ryback mentions noticing in recent months since the return of Jinder Mahal to the WWE roster, he is looking bulkier than usual and that Ryback sees signs of performance enhancing substances.

Looking at a close up of Jinder’s chest on the last week’s episode of RAW, Ryback allegedly noticed swollen nipples, which is according to him a sure sign of steroid use for body enhancement:

“Speaking of t*ts, [you know] who I noticed had t*ts this week on Raw?..Jinder Mahal, did you not notice that?”

Being a user of enhancement drugs like ‘Andro’ in the past himself, the former United States Champion even informed his listeners in the past about stem cell treatments that he suspects Brock Lesnar of using to heal faster in certain points of his career.

About Jinder’s suddenly ‘jacked’ physique, Ryback said:

“I just noticed, they did a f*****g close up of his chest and I just I noticed it right away. I’ve never had that or anything, cause like there’s no reason to. That like is, when you get guy with those red flags right off the f*****g bat, Dr. Black…That s**t don’t happen on its own.”

Ryback even brought up Dr. David L. Black, who oversees WWE drug testing, in this last comment.

What’s next?

WWE takes drug testing really seriously at this point and if Jinder is found to be using body enhancement substances, WWE management will have to answer for it.

Author’s take

WWE’s big push for Jinder Mahal might end with the title match at Backlash since many fans are predicting a loss from him against Orton. Only time will tell if Vince wants Jinder to hold the Universal Title or if this is just a publicity stunt.
