Eric Bischoff is well and truly in the thick of things now and his creative brains are whirring to give us the best product possible, in light of declining ratings. As good as the show was last week, there was a decline in ratings for the same.

#5 The Women's Tag Team Championships match finally happens
The Women's Tag Team Championships have not seemed like a big deal from the time that they were first introduced, in my opinion. The fact is that the women's roster is stretched over two brands and hence, it's not as strong as it can be. Moreover, because SmackDown only has two hours to play with, these titles sometimes get a little lost in the shuffle, I believe.
The IIconics were supposed to take on Fire and Desire in a match last week, but WWE showcased them making a hasty exit. I have a feeling that they could potentially have another match this week, where the IIconics cheat to win. This would lead to a big match at SummerSlam, where the IIconics can drop their titles at long last.
Mandy and Sonya could do well with the titles. Asuka can go back to being a singles performer then, once again!
#4 Daniel Bryan finally makes his big announcement
Not long ago, Daniel Bryan promised a career-altering announcement on SmackDown Live. This would coincide with the fact that our very own Tom Colohue reported that he would be receiving a massive push in the main event picture. Eric Bischoff is apparently very high on Daniel Bryan and wants to see this happen.
Now, everything indicates that Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan will be locked in a feud after SummerSlam. Could Bryan finally make his announcement this week, after weeks of teasing it and going to the back again? Could the announcement be that he was the man that attacked Roman Reigns?
If so, Bryan would be moved out of the tag team picture where he isn't doing too much anyway and rise up the ranks to become a singles star once again. It would certainly make the product very exciting to watch.
#3 Liv Morgan unveils her new character
Not long ago. Liv Morgan received a certain amount of screen time following a rant from Kevin Owens. This would lead to her losing her match and then promising to tap into what was 'the real Liv Morgan'.
Mind you, when she came out for her match on SmackDown Live, she still used the Riott Squad music and mannerisms. This is certainly a ploy to have her be her own person, to not be a Riott Squad leftover anymore.
Not long ago, this video of Liv Morgan's emerged on the internet, and there was an accompanying Tweet from Morgan speaking about the cleansing property of rain, alongside it. Could it be reboot time for Liv Morgan as she storms into the roster and showcases what she's made of, once again?
Personally, I'd be game for a new character as the Riott Squad unfortunately doesn't exist right now.
#2 Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross are added to the SmackDown Women's Championship match
I know that a lot of people may not be happy with this particular move. But the fact of the matter is that Bayley vs. Ember Moon, as fresh as the clash is, does not feel big enough to be a SummerSlam match. And this is because no amount of character work has been done with Ember Moon, beyond the fact that she's a talented in-ring performer with a cool finisher.
On the other hand, there's a readymade storyline with Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. Is the reason why they scored the win last week over Bayley and Ember Moon only to be inserted into the title match at WWE SummerSlam?
Could this lead to a rift between Bliss and Cross at WWE SummerSlam? Both women will want to claim the prize considering it's a pretty prestigious title!
#1 The secret of the Firefly Fun House is revealed
Bray Wyatt has been terrorizing Finn Balor for a while now, with his brand new persona. The Fiend is all set to clash with Balor at SummerSlam, in what should be a mouth-watering clash between two men known to tap into the powers of the supernatural.
But during the Firefly Fun House vignettes, we've been seeing something else as well. Rambling Rabbit has teased telling us about the secret of the Fun House, but every time that he tries to spill the truth, he is interrupted by Bray Wyatt, putting an end to the announcement.
What if Rambling Rabbit is able to tell us the secret on this week's episode, at long last? What if it is something like he's assembling an army, a new Wyatt Family of sorts to take over the roster at last?
