SmackDown kicked off with The Miz in the ring and he was interviewing John Morrison for Miz TV. They talked about his upcoming Rumble appearance, among other things before Kofi Kingston interrupted them. The two decided to have a rematch before Morrison and Miz taunted The New Day.

John Morrison and Big E were on commentary as the match commenced before The Miz got an early near fall from a knee strike. Kofi hit a Suplex followed by a dropkick and then a boom drop. The Miz reversed a Trouble In Paradise into a knee breaker before Kofi hit a cross body off the top and Miz hit a DDT.

Miz missed the finisher and Kofi hit an SOS. Miz took out Kofi's knee and locked in the Figure-Four leglock. The match headed outside and Big E stepped up from the announce table before Morrison took him out with a dive. The Miz hit the Skull Crushing Finale for the win off the distraction.

The FireFly Funhouse was next and Bray wanted us in on a little secret, he loves us while for Bryan, he had the opposite emotion. Bray said the Fiend just wanted to change Daniel Bryan but now that he was looking to take the Universal Championship, he wanted to hurt the leader of the Yes Movement.


Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville were getting ready for a match and Mandy seemed to have a gift for someone. Could it be Otis?


Elias was out in the ring to sing his new song about the Royal Rumble as well as taking jabs at Brock Lesnar and ending with the insinuation that he was going to win the WWE Title soon.


Backstage, Mandy Rose wanted to gift a cake she made to Otis because she was feeling bad after Dolph destroyed his mum's special cake that he had given her.

The match was evenly paced between the two Superstars early on before DeVille got involved and Nikki dropped her on the apron. Mandy used the distraction to hit a knee strike to Alexa and get control of the match.

It looked like Alexa was about to get the win when The Heavy Machinery made their entrance, distracting Alexa. Mandy took the opportunity to roll up Alexa and get the win.

Lacey Evans was out for a match with Sasha Banks but Bayley appeared on camera and said that she was busy recording her rap album in a 'real city', Los Angeles. Bayley taunted Evans, talking about her snotty little kid and Lacey got really fired up and walked backstage before the two started fighting.


After a short fight, Bayley told her to put on her 'mom jeans' and go home. Lacey got angry again and attacked the champ.


Backstage, Daniel Bryan was confident about beating The Fiend since he changes Bryan for the better. The Firefly set came on TV and Ramblin Rabbit was about to reveal the secret to beating The Fiend but Bray caught him at the last second.


Braun Strowman vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Strowman was dominating and hit some clotheslines as well as shoulder tackle followed by a splash in the corner for a near fall. Nakamura had his own shots at a pinfall but Braun was too powerful. Cesaro brought a steel chair in the ring and Braun wiped him off on the apron for it.

Meanwhile, Zayn handed Shinsuke the title belt and he tried to attack Braun with it but Strowman was too quick and dodged it before hitting the powerslam and getting the win.

Sheamus cut another promo from backstage or wherever he was about how 'size matters'.


Daniel Bryan had a gift waiting in his locker and it was a disfigured Ramblin Rabbit that was inside the giftbox. The mindgames have truly started from The Fiend.


Roman Reigns was out next and said that this was his year and he would conquer it all with the Usos. The Usos came out and talked about teaching 'Queen Corbin' and Ziggler some respect. Corbin came out an further escalated things before we headed for a match.

The Usos vs. Baron Corbin & Dolph Ziggler

The match was on in full swing when The Revival made their entrance and allowed Corbin & Ziggler to get the advantage. Roman Reigns came out next and eliminated the Revival.

Roman caused the match to end in a DQ and set up the announce tabel to put Corbin through before Robert Roode returned to attack him.

Corbin, Ziggler and Roode destroyed everyone and put Reigns through the announce table before burying him in chairs.

Result: Baron Corbin & Dolph Ziggler def. The Usos via DQ

A rather uneventful episode other than the return of John Morrison and the Usos' first match on FOX.
