Aiden English, Tom Phillips and Renee Young were on commentary as SmackDown kicked off with the appearance of the WWE Champion, Brock Lesnar. Heyman said that Lesnar was pissed off after the attack on him at Crown Jewel. We got to see a recap of the entire match as well as Lesnar's retreat after Rey Mysterio manhandled him with the steel chair.
Heyman said they went to Vince McMahon to demand that Rey be 'served up' to Lesnar. But since Mysterio was a RAW Superstar, the Chairman of WWE declined it. As a result, Heyman announced Lesnar is quitting SmackDown and heading to RAW.

Triple H and Shawn Michaels were watching backstage as Lesnar and Heyman walk out of the building.
Bayley (c) vs. Nikki Cross - SmackDown Women's Title Match
Bayley and Nikki pushed each other around as the match kicked off and Nikki took control, sending the champ outside for a DDT. Nikki caught Bayley with a crossbody for a near fall before Sasha interfered. Nikki took her out on the apron and Bayley used the opportunity to hit the elbow drop for her first near fall tonight.
Nikki caught Bayley in the apron and went ham but Sasha knocked her off the top rope, allowing Bayley to get a sneaky pin on her.
Result: Bayley def. Nikki Cross to retain the SmackDown Women's Title
Shayna Baszler came out of the crowd and attacked Sasha and Bayley after the match. She knocked the champ out with a knee to the face, asserting her dominance before posing with the NXT Women's Title.

Backstage, Sami Zayn was giving an interview before he was confronted by Keith Lee and Matt Riddle while Aiden English was replaced by Pat McAfee at the commentary table.
Sami ran from the NXT Stars but ended up in the ring with them. Matt Riddle took him out before Keith Lee hit a moonsault on him.

The Miz was out next to interview himself because The Fiend wasn't available. He ran a recap of Wyatt's title win from the day before he moved on to the topic of NXT. Tomasso Ciampa came out on cue and started criticizing the main roster. Miz challenged him to a match and Ciampa agreed.

The Miz vs. Tomasso Ciampa
The Miz was showboating early on before the fight went outside and Ciampa used the barricades and the steel steps. They traded knee strikes and countered each other till Miz hit a DDT. Miz locked the Figure 4 but Ciampa rolled over.
Ciampa went for the Boston Crab but Miz reversed it. Miz walked into a knee strike and took the Fairytale Ending before going down for good.

Daniel Bryan was backstage and ran into HHH and HBK. Daniel challenged Hunter to a match but he declined. Michaels teased a fight but instead, Hunter offered Adam Cole and the NXT Championship to Bryan!
Mandy Rose & Sonya DeVille vs. Rhea Ripley & Tegan Nox
Dana Brooke and Carmella were getting pummeled backstage by Bianca Belair before their match with Mandy Rose & Sonya DeVille. Rhea Ripley & Tegan Nox showed up instead and started handing it to the SmackDown Superstars.
The NXT Superstars teamed up on Mandy and destroyed her in the ring. Nox threw Deville into the commentary team and Ripley caught Rose in an inverted Cloverleaf, picking up the win.

Triple H and Shawn Michaels were out next and took a front-row seat as Stephanie McMahon came out to address the WWE Universe.
Stephanie McMahon addressed the first-ever women's match in Saudi Arabia before Daniel Bryan came out followed by Adam Cole.
Adam Cole (c) vs. Daniel Bryan - NXT Championship Match
Bryan struck Cole down early on and hit big chops in the corner. Bryan locked in a hold and Triple H nervously stood up at ringside as a result. Both men fell to the outside as we headed for commercials.
Cole got a near fall but Bryan was not done yet and came back with a big lariat. Bryan sent Cole outside for a knee strike before the match returned to the ring. Daniel Bryan hit a missile dropkick and sent Adam outside again for a dive.
Cole locked in a submission but Bryan reversed it into on of his own. Bryan locked in the Labelle lock before stomping on his face. Bryan went back to the Labelle but Cole found the rope with his foot. Daniel went for the Yes kicks but caught a Superkick and the Panama Sunrise before Cole picked up the big win with The Last Shot!
Result: Adam Cole def. Daniel Bryan to retain the NXT Championship
All the NXT stars rushed the ring and Triple H just announced that NXT is ready for the Survivor Series fight with RAW and SmackDown. He also said both the Red and Blue Brands have been put on notice.

This was a huge night for WWE as NXT invaded SmackDown quite successfully while the WWE Champion announced his leave from the Blue Brand.
