What's the story
Tonight during a WWE live event, Becky Lynch was brutally assaulted by Charlotte Flair following a failed attempt to extract some revenge against her former best friend, now bitter rival. What does this mean for Becky Lynch and how badly injured is her knee heading into WrestleMania 35?

As you may know, Becky Lynch has been suspended indefinitely by Mr. McMahon for the next 60 days, with Mr. McMahon adding insult to injury by placing Charlotte Flair in her spot to face Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35. In spite of this, Becky has taken it upon herself to get her revenge on Charlotte.
The heart of the matter
Tonight at a WWE Live Event in Alexandria, LA. Charlotte Flair was competing in a match against SmackDown Live Women's Champion, Asuka. During the match, Becky Lynch made a surprise appearance when she jumped over the barricade and rushed to the ring to attack Charlotte. The tables would turn quickly on Becky, as "The Queen" would go after the injured knee of Becky Lynch.
WWE has posted the full video below via their Instagram account, which shows the heinous assault taking place. Charlotte further damaged the knee of Becky Lynch with repeated chair shots across the knee, as WWE officials desperately attempted to keep Charlotte away.
What's next
WWE Elimination Chamber is coming up in less than 24 hours, live on the WWE Network starting at 6pm(EST) with the kickoff show. This will make things interesting if we see either Becky or Charlotte make an appearance, as "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey is set to defend her RAW Women's Championship against Ruby Riott. The winner will go on to defend the championship against Charlotte at WrestleMania 35, in April.
