WWE Survivor Series 2019: 3 betrayals that could happen

We're just about a week away from WWE's annual Survivor Series event. It's the time of the year where the different brands under the company collide for supremacy. This year's event has been spiced up due to the addition of NXT into the mix, due to which a lot of fans are looking forward to the PPV.

Exciting matchups between the brands are most certainly assured, but something else that can also happen is a betrayal. Disgruntled Superstars can show their true colors by turning on their teams and helping the opposition. It happens a lot when you put two wrestlers who are in a rivalry in the same team and expect them to co-operate.

There are a few possibilities of betrayals at this year's Survivor Series, and in this article, we will explore three such betrayals that could happen.

#3 Randy Orton

Randy Orton has been a heel for the majority of 2019, but during this week's RAW, he showed signs of a face turn by teaming up with Ricochet and Humberto Carrillo. It is interesting to note that Orton exchanged a few words with Ricochet after the match and sent a warning. Subsequently, he was put on the RAW men's team for Survivor Series 2019.

It may just be a set-up to make things intriguing and tease a fight among the two. However, the probability of that is very less. I think any long-time fan could tell that a feud between the two is impending and may start at Survivor Series. An RKO at a crucial moment on Ricochet could result in the latter's elimination and officially kick off the feud.

Orton works better as the bad guy, and he's been trying to establish other younger wrestlers as of late. So he may want to give some rub to Ricochet in the next few months on the build-up to WrestleMania 36.

#2 King Corbin

Baron Corbin is a part of the SmackDown men's team at Survivor Series. He's the only bad guy in the team, and it is interesting to note that he had issues with Shorty G recently. What's more interesting is that he's currently involved in a feud with Roman Reigns. He even beat the Big Dog last week on SmackDown with help from Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler.

On this week's episode, Corbin made a mockery of Reigns and brought out a man, who was in a dog costume. This segment was one of the low points of the show, but unfortunately, the feud could continue beyond the PPV. Later in the show, Reigns was ringside as Shorty G and Ali retained their spots on the team after putting it on the line in a tag team match.

As an attempt to get retribution, Corbin could attack one or many Superstars in his team and eventually cost them the match. It would make the most sense as well, considering he has issues with almost everyone on his team.

#1 Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins, the captain of the RAW men's team for Survivor Series, has an arduous task on hand at the PPV. He was affected both physically and mentally during his feud with The Fiend, who won the Universal Championship at Crown Jewel 2019. So it's safe to say that he isn't at 100%. On top of that, Triple H made an offer to Rollins to join team NXT.

Though he was in a dilemma initially, he firmly stood behind RAW and fought off NXT. But what if he is playing the fans? This could very well be a ruse on Rollins' part to convince people of his alliance to RAW only to betray them at the end. It is the most predictable turn, but it would be shocking, nonetheless.

He could end up helping NXT at a crucial moment during the match, which could give them the victory. Rollins has been in desperate need of a heel turn for a long time, and this could set things up nicely for the future.
