With WrestleMania 37 less than seven weeks away, it is time for WWE to lay the groundwork for the lineup of the biggest event of the year.

It is the culmination of what has been a challenging year for the company. During this period, SmackDown has grown to become WWE's undisputed A-show. The blue brand is possibly the best of the wrestling week, thanks to the consistent booking of its top stars.

Fans are excited to see what is in store for the entire SmackDown roster for WrestleMania. These stories will be told over the next couple of months and fans' expectations pretty high.

Roman Reigns vs. Edge for the Universal Championship confirmed for WrestleMania 37

WWE has already confirmed the first match on the WrestleMania card, pitting Universal Champion Roman Reigns against Royal Rumble winner Edge. This will likely headline the entire weekend, with 'Mania being a two-night event.

However, most of SmackDown is an open book heading into WrestleMania. Here is an attempt at predicting every match on the SmackDown side of WrestleMania 37. If you disagree with these picks, which is bound to happen, leave a comment of your predictions.

#6 Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair for the SmackDown Women's Championship at WrestleMania 37

While it's not official, this match is a pretty obvious choice for WrestleMania 37. Ever since she won the Royal Rumble Match, Bianca Belair's interactions with Sasha Banks have clearly shown us that these two will lock horns at the Grandest Stage Of Them All. They're not quite at that level of animosity yet, but we could get there as soon as this Friday on SmackDown.

Banks is the biggest full-time female Superstar currently in WWE has and is sure to give Belair the match of her life. The Boss and The EST Of WWE would mesh well in the ring, with the perfect blend of technical mastery and athleticism. The only thing left is a full-fledged storyline heading into WrestleMania 37, which SmackDown usually does well with.

While Reginald's involvement between them seems confusing, WWE may opt to keep the feud simple. The Legit Boss will be the default heel in this scenario, a role she has excelled at. She doesn't even need to fully embrace her dark side for fans to get behind the EST of WWE at WrestleMania 37.

The company should pull the trigger on the new star who lasted close to an hour to win the Royal Rumble Match. That sort of push usually is punctuated with a WrestleMania Championship victory, so Bianca Belair could very well become the SmackDown Women's Champion at the Show of Shows. It might even headline Night One.

#5 Sami Zayn vs. Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania 37

This WrestleMania match may be a little out of the left-field, but it makes sense. While other prominent SmackDown Superstars have a possible program heading into the event, Sami Zayn and Shinsuke Nakamura both don't have a clear direction.

WWE might as well pair them at WrestleMania, playing off their history with each other. Zayn is way too entertaining to be left off the card, although it would further his conspiracy angle. He should ideally face Kevin Owens at WrestleMania. However, it is possible that KO could continue his feud with Jey Uso.

Meanwhile, Nakamura recently turned face and as a result, has to be on the card simply so the live crowd can sing his theme song again. If it is half as good as their NXT TakeOver classic in Dallas, Sami Zayn vs. Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania 37 will be a success.

#4 Dirty Dawgs vs. Street Profits vs. Alpha Academy vs. Rey and Dominik Mysterio for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship

WWE loves to book multi-team Tag Team Championship matches at WrestleMania. Multiple tag teams on SmackDown could get a spot on the Show of Shows, including the current Champions - Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, known as the Dirty Dawgs.

The Street Profits are pursuing their rematch for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles, which they should get before WrestleMania. They could enter the event with the belts but with another couple of teams right beneath them. Otis turned heel last week, and Alpha Academy could become a bigger deal.

Also, Rey and Dominik Mysterio should be on the hunt for gold. The story of the father-son duo trying to capture the tag team titles at Dominik's first WrestleMania is an interesting one. WWE could club all of them together to create an entertaining palette-cleanser for either night of this year's Show Of Shows.

#3 The Usos vs. Kevin Owens and Christian in a Tag Team Street Fight at WrestleMania 37

This match is not as odd as it might seem for WrestleMania, considering what we know about the top of the card on SmackDown. Kevin Owens is not finished with Jey Uso, who viciously eliminated him from the Elimination Chamber this past week.

Meanwhile, with Edge to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, Christian might enter the mix on SmackDown. Captain Charisma made a surprise return in the Royal Rumble Match, seven years after being forced to retire. His performance was good enough to warrant another run in WWE. Christian could serve as Edge's counter to the Uso problem.

If we combine KO's beef with The Bloodline with Christian's potential involvement, the result may be a very exciting tag team match for WrestleMania. Owens and Christian could face The Usos if Jimmy returns from his knee injury.

As an extension to SmackDown's main-event for WrestleMania, the four Superstars could engage in a Tag Team Street Fight. Of course, the main motive behind this is so Kevin Owens can jump off the pirate ship at Raymond James Stadium. It would be quite the WrestleMania moment for KO.

#2 Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro at WrestleMania 37

With this story already underway, WWE could extend it until WrestleMania. Seth Rollins attacked Cesaro on the former's first appearance on the blue brand in three months.

The Swiss Superman had an incredible showing in the SmackDown Elimination Chamber Match following that, and a program with a dastardly heel like Rollins will keep him in the upper echelons of SmackDown. The two of them could face each other at Fastlane with a WrestleMania blowoff sounding like a great idea.

Rollins could cheat to win their first match before Cesaro picks up a huge victory at the Show of Shows, or WWE might opt to tell a longer-form story between the two in-ring experts. A 'Mania match between them would be phenomenal, especially in their current roles. Rollins can do a lot of good for Cesaro and his upward trajectory in WWE.

WrestleMania features everything - Superstar power, grand entrances, major surprises, celebrity involvement, and great in-ring action. Seth Rollins and Cesaro would fulfill the role of being the technical masterpiece in it.

#1 Big E vs. Daniel Bryan for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 37

Big E is currently in an intense feud with Apollo Crews, but it might not last until WrestleMania. While Crews has a new lease on life following his heel turn, Big E will likely head into the big event as the Intercontinental Champion. Whom could he face at WrestleMania? Daniel Bryan would be a great choice.

Bryan is fresh off an Elimination Chamber victory, which was followed by a quick defeat to Roman Reigns.A shot at the Intercontinental Title would be a solid consolation prize for The Leader Of The Yes Movement heading into WrestleMania 37.

He has regularly mentioned his vision for the IC Title but is yet to have a proper run with it. Bryan has wrestled the likes of Sami Zayn and AJ Styles for the title in the past year, to no luck. He might not beat Big E as well, but there is a good story that could be told.

With his full-time in-ring career nearing its end, Bryan might get increasingly desperate to have a run with the Intercontinental Championship. This would give Big E a big WrestleMania match, while the IC Title gets a good spotlight as well.

Daniel Bryan and Big E have some history dating back to the KofiMania storyline at WrestleMania 35. Also, with the way Bryan has been putting other Superstars over, he would likely be willing to do the same for Big E. A win over such a celebrated performer at WrestleMania would be huge for the former New Day member.
