CaptainSauce, also known as Cap or Sauce, is a Canadian internet personality and gamer from Newfoundland, Canada. He is known for his improvised, comedic commentary on various indie games. He is also recognized for having a superhero avatar, also the mascot of his channel, which is a humanoid with a tomato head wearing a green and yellow superhero get-up, sporting a red “S” at the center.
Though he joined YouTube in November 2014, he posted his first video in 2015. Between those months, he spent time learning how to make gaming videos. Thereafter, he started posting his signature style of videos on YouTube, making gaming content largely on indie video games.

Some of his most popular PC game series are Hello Neighbor, Kindergarten 1+2, and The Sims 4. Cap mainly focuses on indie PC games such as Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (TABS), Paint the Town Red, Deer Simulator, Barn Finders, Fireworks Mania, Draw A Stickman Epic, Kill It With Fire, Raft, and The Henry Stickmin series.
He has also expanded his channel’s content to include VR gaming, and made multi-video series of games like Gorn, Job Simulator, Vacation Simulator, Please Don't Touch Anything, Budget Cuts 1 and 2, Virtual Reality, Floor Plan, Superhot and I Expect You To Die. Although his channel experienced a massive amount of growth due to these games, he eventually had to take a hiatus from making these kinds of gameplays, due to an eye condition and back problems.
