Kat started her channel back in 2011. She was still in high school when she started, and actually shelved the channel for a bit while she focused on school. Once she graduated, she returned to the channel and started pumping out gaming content on a regular basis. In the beginning, most of her videos were done in collaboration with her sister Kim, herself a YouTuber under the name GoldenGlare.

She joined the YouTube world in September 2011. She did not publish her first video, "Thirsty Crafter (Minecraft Machinima Short)", until New Year's Day of 2013. Katherine “Kat” La was born on October 31, 1995, and in her early life, she and her siblings lived with their parents in a small bungalow with two floors. Her parents are Vietnamese immigrants. The basement was always rented out, so they couldn’t play in the basement. Her dad was a chef and her mom washed dishes at a local restaurant. Some nights, their parents would eat very little as they were having trouble with their finances. One day, their dad brought home a used Nintendo console that his boss gave him, because the boss's daughter didn't like it anymore. It was called the Famicom. She and her siblings enjoyed playing on it. Sadly, it broke, but they got another one called the Nintendo GameCube.

In her elementary days, she ventured into art but was shy. She would carry her doodle book everywhere and would draw the things she found fascinating. In 2005, they moved houses because their parents wanted more space for them. She was excited and sad at that time. In their new school, Kat was described as a "weirdo" and "awkward". Her parents gave her an old digital camera, with which she would make funny skits and show them to her family and cousins. She was the little comedian in the family.

In 2008, her parents bought a restaurant downtown, hoping that it would make more income for the family. She would work there on the weekends and sometimes on weekdays. The restaurant wasn't very successful, so their parents couldn't hire anyone. She and her siblings would sometimes watch YouTube to ease the burden of work. The restaurant made her depressed. At night there would be arguments, fights, tears, and anger. Their biggest problem was that they were in a lot of debt, because business was slow. After three years, they sold the restaurant. Kat felt like the chains finally broke off.

In 2011, Kat made her own YouTube channel called ItsFunneh, where her first video is private now. Kat used to create Minecraft machinimas and parodies. The script was written by Kat on her own in the school library. Kat stopped posting videos after a while and temporarily quit YouTube.

Her sister, Kim (Gold) suggested that Kat should record videos for their channel again, but they would commentate while playing games. Kat was scared to upload the video but Kim convinced Kat to upload it. Thus did her YouTube career begin.

Kat currently lives in Fort Mackay, Alberta. Kat and her siblings currently have 3 dogs named Alven, Dembe, and Reinhardt, and two cats named Kiaria and Ezera.

Kat creates amusing roleplay, adventure, mini-game and challenge videos from the games Minecraft and Roblox. The content is pretty kid-friendly. ItsFunneh and the Krew don't use profanity or discuss adult-themed topics, and they keep a generally lighthearted and fun vibe on all their videos. Only a few of the games they play might not be age-appropriate for younger players. Her non-gaming videos are also kid-friendly, showcasing the Krew eating, cooking or exploring new cities. For tween and teen gamers, ItsFunneh is a great channel to follow on YouTube.
