In a recent interview with Natalie Comics, Studio Pierrot president Michiyuki Honma stated that Bleach's Thousand-Year Blood War arc has been greatly influenced by Demon Slayer's seasonal approach to its anime adaptation.

The president of the famous studio also went on record to point out that their old way of doing things, which included running anime series weekly with little to no breaks, is very likely to be a thing of the past.

Honma also stated how influential Demon Slayer was to the anime industry as a whole because of the high-quality animation and how its seasonal approach meant a turning point for the way the medium was produced. This can be seen not only with Bleach's recent comeback but also with several other major hits, such as Attack on Titan and Jujutsu Kaisen.

Studio Pierrot president Michiyuki Honma mentioned Demon Slayer as a major influence for the recent Bleach anime adaptation

Studio Pierrot president Michiyuki Honma was very vocal in his recent interview with the Natalie Comics website in Japan about how the Demon Slayer anime influenced the way the recent Bleach adaptation came to be. He also states how Ufotable production wasn't only a major turning point for his studio but also the anime industry as a whole:

"I think Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba was a major turning point for the anime industry. It was a high-quality work that took a lot of time and a generous budget to make and it was a big hit when it aired, attracting people from a wide range of age groups. I watched it. Before and after Demon Slayer was announced, I really felt that we had to change the way we create things, he said.
Furthermore, other studios were releasing high-quality works on a similar scale and in Japan there was an environment where these could be watched on commercial television," he continued.

In addition, he stated that the studio's approach for the coming projects—whether they are new or the return of established ones—will be the same as it was for this season. This last part caught the eye of Boruto and Black Clover fans who want to see their favorite series return to anime format in the coming years.

Bleach is the story of how a teenager named Ichigo Kurosaki gains the power of a Shinigami, who are beings and are in charge of defeating creatures known as Hollows and allowing their souls to rest in peace and eventually reincarnate. While Ichigo tries to protect his loved ones, he ends up dealing with increasing odds and moral challenges, such as the ones stated in the Thousand-Year Blood War arc.

On the other hand, Demon Slayer takes place in early 20th-century Japan, and Tanjiro Kamado's family is slaughtered by a demon lord named Muzan, with only his sister Nezuko surviving but turning into one of those creatures. Tanjiro bows to get revenge and ends up involved in a centuries-long feud between humans and demons.
