DeMar DeRozan made history a few days ago when he reached the 20,000-point mark in his illustrious NBA career.

DeRozan became the 50th player in the league to reach this milestone, joining a list of Hall of Famers.

The vast majority of the players on this list have already retired, but there are a few that are still active and fighting for the championship.

Here are seven active players with more than 20,000 points in the NBA:

#1 LeBron James - 37,237 points

LeBron James has played in the NBA for 20 straight years after making his debut in 2003. He is a four-time champion, multi-time All-Star and four-time MVP.

He remains one of the best players in the NBA and is chasing his fifth championship this season.

LeBron James has scored 37,237 points and is second on the all-time scoring list.

He trails only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who has posted 38,387 points. If James stays healthy, he should be able to surpass him this season.

#2 Kevin Durant - 25,786 points

Kevin Durant is second on this list with 25,786 points. An elite scorer and one of the best offensive players in league history, the Brooklyn Nets superstar is 19th on the all-time scoring list.

A two-time champion, Durant has a few good years left in the league, so he can surpass a few more legends and climb closer to the top 10.

#3 James Harden - 23,675 points

James Harden is 28th on the all-time scoring list with 23,675 career points. He could surpass quite a few retired legends if he continues to play at a high level for a few more seasons.

#5 Chris Paul - 21,007 points

#6 Stephen Curry - 20,304 points

With 20,304 points, he is sixth on this list and 47th on the all-time scoring leaderboard.

Given his impressive scoring averages over the years, he is expected to reach the top 40 by the end of the 2022-23 season.
