LeBron James put the LA Lakers on his back on Saturday to carry the team past the Denver Nuggets in Game 4 of their playoff series.
“King James” dropped 14 of his team-high 30 points in the final quarter to finally fend off the defending champs’ usual late-game surge. The win allowed the Lakers to cut the series deficit to 3-1 and extend the series to a Game 5 on Monday.
James was all business on the court, refusing to let the Nuggets get back and pull the rug from under the Lakers again. When Denver cut LA’s 19-point lead to 113-106 with 1:25 remaining, the four-time MVP hunkered down to work harder. He scored in back-to-back possessions and handed out an assist that eventually ended the stubborn visitors' night.
After the game, LeBron James promptly called his wife Savannah James, who is starting a new podcast with April McDaniel. The LA Lakers superstar made sure that he checked on her and called on the people he knew to tune in to the said show.
Midway through their conversation, James suddenly claimed:
“Why can’t I see my hairline?!”
James’ wife gave him a quizzical look and told him that she didn’t know what he was talking about. The NBA’s all-time points leader added that he might have to wear a wig before bursting into laughter.
Savannah James’ podcast, called “Everybody’s Crazy,” will launch on Apr. 30. It will open just a month after LeBron James and JJ Redick also introduced their basketball talk called “Mind the Game.”

Savannah James will not likely appear on “Mind the Game” to talk basketball with her husband LeBron James and JJ Redick. The podcast is all about hoops, something she will willingly give to the show’s current hosts.
The LA Lakers forward, though, might have a chance to be on his wife’s talk show as deals with daily life. “Everybody’s Crazy” is an avenue for people to share their lives and even ask for advice about crazy situations.
The basketball superstar certainly has more than his fair share of occasions that thousands will tune in to hear.
Savannah James was previously hesitant about “putting myself out like that” as she loves being a mom and LeBron James’ biggest supporter.
However, she has slowly but steadily been making her presence felt in public events. Last month, she was one of the presenters during the Billboards Music Awards.
“King James” might have the upper hand in talk shows but it will not be long before his wife will gain her own following. He would be willing to appear on her show to boost her podcast to listeners.
