Paige Bueckers announced her decision to return to UConn for her fifth year despite being eligible for the 2024 WNBA draft. She was a key player for her program throughout the year, especially in their March Madness run.

In an interview via Miami Heat posted on X (formerly Twitter), Beuckers answered four interesting questions ranging from her best TikTok trend to her viral moment with rapper Waka Flocka.

Beuckers revealed how she saw Waka Flocka and asked for a picture, and he didn't recognize her until she posted the picture with him on Instagram.

"Honestly, I just went up and ran up to him and asked for a picture. He didn't recognize me until after I tagged him on Instagram post and then we kind of chatted it up. We both said we were fans of each other," said Bueckers.

Then, she was asked about her go-to song.

"Lately, it's been a lot of gospel, Bueckers replied. "I would say Praise In Advance and Thank You For It All by Marvin Sapp."

When asked about her favorite TikTok trend/dance, Beuckers said she was all about the transition videos.

"So me and my teammate Ice, we just came here to Miami and we did the one where like you jump over something, and then in the next frame you're in wherever. So, start Connecticut and we're gonna end up in Miami," Bueckers said.

Lastly, Paige Bueckers was asked to show what her rizz hands looked like, and she smiled while concluding the questionnaire with her rizz. (timestamp 0:33).

Bueckers averaged 21.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game last season for UConn. She boasted an amazing field-goal percentage of 53.0 % and a free-throw percentage of 83.4%.

Paige Bueckers led UConn to the Final Four in March Madness 2024, where they lost to Caitlin Clark's Iowa. Despite the loss, she was phenomenal for UConn throughout the year.

Starting the season as Big East Preseason Player of the Year, Bueckers led UConn to the Big East championship, where they beat Georgetown in the title game. In the game, she secured 27 points and five blocks and was named the Big East Player of the Year 2024.

With Caitlin Clark drafted to Indiana Fever as a No.1 pick, Paige Beuckers is being considered as her potential heir for the upcoming season due to her extraordinary skill set.

Bueckers, the Two-time Gatorade Player of the Year, was the number one recruit out of her high school. Since her hiring at UConn, she has been remarkably good. In her freshman season at UConn, she proved her worth by securing 581 points, 168 assists and 66 steals.

Bueckers continued the same spirit throughout her sophomore and junior seasons, leading UConn to the title game of the NCAA Tournament 2022. She contributed 14 points and six rebounds in the game, which they lost to South Carolina in the finals.

In her senior season, she is expected to fill the void that Caitlin Clark has left and lead UConn to their 12th NCAA title.
