"He's 16 years old": Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart reacts to 2025 recruit Jerome Myles' incredible record breaking Utah 100M sprint

Jaxson Dart took to X on Saturday to react to Jerome Myles' incredible record-breaking 100-meter sprint. The Ole Miss quarterback pointed out the 2025 Rebels recruit’s age while hyping him up for the future. It came after the Corner Canyon High School wide receiver broke the Utah all-time 100-meter record.

Myles, who plays high school football as a wide receiver, has already committed to play for the Rebels in the 2025 season. His speed at such a young age is an asset that coach Lane Kiffin would love to see even before he joins Ole Miss. Dart also seems to have liked what he saw in the young prospect, and he let the college football world know.

“He’s 16 years old,” Jaxson Dart wrote on X with a surprised face emoji.

The Corner Canyon star smashed the Utah all-time 100-meter sprint record after he completed the race in 10.35 seconds. He broke the 43-year-old record held by Brian Hazelgren, who ran the same distance in 10.47 seconds in 1981.

It is Myles’ first year as a track and field athlete, and he could pursue it next year as a high school senior if he wants to. But he is most likely to land with the Rebels to pursue his football career. While Dart may not be there when the new wide receiver arrives, he sure has noticed the talent from his former high school in his hometown.

Jaxson Dart’s meetup with Eli Manning

More than a week before reacting to the 2025 prospect Jerome Myles’ record, Jaxson Dart met up with a notable Rebel of yesteryear, Eli Manning. The past and present Ole Miss quarterbacks met up at Vaught Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi, and posed together on the stage. The program shared some snaps of the two from the event on Instagram.

“Ole Miss Legacy. Eli Manning and Jaxson Dart talk ball,” the caption of the post read.

Dart has played two of his three college football seasons in Oxford and has put up some decent numbers. He led the Rebels to a Peach Bowl appearance last season, winning it against the Penn State Nittany Lions. He would want to make a run for the national title in the upcoming season when he returns to the field for his fourth season in college football.
