Team India's cricket calendar in 2014

January – February

McLean Park, Napier Cricket Stadium

Team India will kick off their year with the New Zealand tour from January 19th onwards. India will play 5 ODIs and 2 Tests on the tour. The first match will be played at McLean Park, Napier. The tour itinerary:

- 1st ODI at Napier: 19th January 2014

- 2nd ODI at Hamilton: 22nd January 2014

- 3rd ODI at Auckland: 25th January 2014

- 4th ODI at Hamilton: 28th January 2014

- 5th ODI at Wellington: 31st January 2014

- 1st Test at Auckland: 6th – 10th February 2014

- 2nd Test at Wellington: 14th – 18th February 2014

* India are scheduled to play the 2014 Asia Cup in February-March. However, the fixtures have not been announced yet.

Meanwhile, India U19s are playing the U19 Asia Cup at Dubai. They are playing against Sri Lanka U19s in the semi-final today. If they win, they will go on to play the final on January 4th against the winner from the other semi-final between Pakistan U19s and Afghanistan U19s.

India U19s will travel to Dubai again for the ICC U19 World Cup in February. The itinerary:

- India U19s vs Pakistan U19s at Dubai: 15th February 2014

- India U19s vs Scotland U19s at Dubai: 17th February 2014

- India U19s vs Papua New Guinea U19s at Sharjah: 19th February 2014

March – April – May – June

ICC World Twenty20 will commence in March 2014

India will travel to Dhaka for the ICC World Twenty 20 in March. The first match is against Pakistan on March 21st. The itinerary:

- India vs Pakistan at Dhaka: 21st March 2014

- India vs West Indies at Dhaka: 23rd March 2014

- India vs TBD at Dhaka: 28th March 2014

- India vs Australia at Dhaka: 30th March 2014

The final will be played on 6th April 2014 at Dhaka.

India Women will kick off their ICC Women’s World Twenty 20 campaign from March 24th onwards at Sylhet. Their first match is against Sri Lanka Women. The itinerary:

- India Women vs Sri Lanka Women at Sylhet: 24th March 2014

- India Women vs England Women at Sylhet: 26th March 2014

- India Women vs Bangladesh Women at Sylhet: 30th March 2014

- India Women vs West Indies Women at Sylhet: 1st April 2014

The final will be played on 6th April 2014 at Sylhet.

IPL trophy

* The seventh edition of the Indian Premier League will kick off in April. The schedule is yet to be released.

* India are scheduled to play 3 ODIs against Bangladesh in June. The itinerary has not been declared yet.

July-August-September

Trent Bridge

India will look for some revenge in 2014 against England when they tour England in July and August after what happened in 2011. India are scheduled to play 5 Tests, 5 ODIs and 1 T20I. The itinerary:

- 1st Test at Nottingham: 9th – 13th July 2014

- 2nd Test at Lord’s: 17th – 21st July 2014

- 3rd Test at Southampton: 27th – 31st July 2014

- 4th Test at Manchester: 7th – 11th August 2014

- 5th Test at The Oval: 15th – 19th August 2014

- 1st ODI at Bristol: 25th August 2014

- 2nd ODI at Cardiff: 27th August 2014

- 3rd ODI at Nottingham: 30th August 2014

- 4th ODI at Birmingham: 2nd September 2014

- 5th ODI at Leeds: 5th September 2014

- Only T2OI at Birmingham: 7th September 2014

* The Champions League T20 will be played in September as well. The schedule is yet to be announced.

October – November – December

Eden Gardens, Kolkata

* West Indies will tour India in October-November. The scheduled is yet to be decided. The tour is likely to consist 3 Tests, 5 ODIs and 1 T20I.

* India are scheduled to tour Australia in December and January 2015. The tour is likely to consist 4 Tests and a triangular series featuring another team other than Australia and India.
