Phil Mickelson, who is enjoying his time on the LIV Golf side, was recently spotted sharing his opinion on an important subject at the Trump National Doral Golf Club in Miami. There, the interviewer asked Mickelson whether more players from another tour would consider switching to the LIV league next year.
To this, the 53-year-old replied in affirmative, stating that he and the other players from the league are already receiving calls from golfers who are willing to join the LIV league.

LIV Golfers, including Phil Mickelson, will not receive OWGR points even next season
Unfortunately, like the previous year, LIV golfers will not be given any OWGR points, no matter how exceptionally they play their game.
The OWGR rejected LIV's request for points for its competitions. The 54-hole, no-cut structure of LIV and the absence of a defined path for promotion or relegation in the league were mentioned as factors for the rejection of points.
Henceforth, golfers will continue to see their world rankings drop again. Additionally, the lack of a clear route to the majors for LIV is a big barrier to the breakaway tour's future development.
However, Phil Mickelson is not at all bothered by the OWGR ruling. As far as the issue of majors relying on the Official World Golf Rankings to determine their fields is concerned, he has an easy solution to it.
“The majors need to protect their product, and there's probably other ways that they can do that by creating slots. If they want to make sure they have the best fields in golf, they could create vehicles for players on LIV to play in majors where they don't have to use the OWGR.”
Whether the majors take Mickelson's advice on board remains to be seen. But the absence of some of the biggest names from the sport's leading tournaments is certainly not a good thing.
