Golfing legend Tom Watson is at the 2023 PGA Championship and he is enjoying every minute of it. Golf fans around the world know Watson for his spectacular skills on the golf course. While Watson won the other three Majors multiple times, the one he could not crack was the PGA Championship.
His best-ever finish was second. Reminiscing about his favourite hole at the PGA Championship, Watson said via Twitter:
"18. The second shot going up into an elevated green, kind of a skinny green. I think I remember having to make the cut there. No, I’ll tell you what. I missed the cut there. But I holed it from the front, short of the green."

Tom Watson's illustrious career left without a PGA Championship win
Tom Watson won 39 times on the PGA Tour and had a career lasting almost three decades. Sadly, he never won the PGA Championship. The course is a rather tough one to play, as can be seen at the 2023 PGA Championship.
Watson won five Open Championships, two Masters, and one US Open over the span of his career. He captained in the Ryder Cup five times and even led his team to victory at the 1993 Ryder Cup.
Watson was inducted into the golf Hall of Fame. He is now a part of the PGA Champions Tour, for which he earned honorary membership in 1999. Since then, he has had 14 wins on the Champions Tour, including six Senior Majors.
The 105th edition of the Championship is being held at the Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York. The course has been a difficult one to manage for most, with only a handful of the golfers managing to stay below par.
Going into the third round of the Championship, Scottie Scheffler, Viktor Hovland, and Corey Conners hold a joint lead. While World No. 1 Jon Rahm entered the Championship as a favorite to win, the weekend did not go as planned for him as he sits at the bottom of the leaderboard.
