Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship's KnuckleMania IV pay-per-view event is in the books. It took place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California on April 27 and featured 12 action-packed contests, including a heavyweight title fight.

In the main event, former UFC contenders Mike Perry and Thiago Alves competed in a five-round contest. Undefeated in the bare-knuckle fighting circuit coming into the fight, Perry had defeated former UFC champions Eddie Alvarez and Luke Rockhold in the most recent outings. He also held a win over Michael 'Venom' Page.

Meanwhile, Alvez became the inaugural BKFC middleweight champion in June 2021. However, 'Pitbull' was stripped of the title after his contract expired in 2022. The fight against Perry marked his return to the BKFC circuit.

Perry, who appeared to be the bigger fighter, took the center of the ring and pressured Alves with power punches. Alves, who attempted to stay out of Perry's range with effective movement, was knocked down by a vicious left hook.

'Pitbull' failed to regain composure after the 10-count and referee Dan Miragliotta waved off the fight. With the win, Perry improved his bare-knuckle fighting record to a perfect 5-0.

In the co-main event, BKFC heavyweight champion Mick Terrill attempted the first defense of his title against reigning two-division BKFC champion Lorenzo Hunt.

Hunt currently holds the BKFC light heavyweight and cruiserweight titles. He has defended both belts against credentialed opponents and attempted to create history by going after a third divisional title.

However, the quest proved to be very difficult as Terrill came out aggressively and connected with several good strikes. A clean right uppercut from Terrill dropped Hunt in the second minute of Round 2.

Unfortunately, 'Juggernaut' injured his elbow while hitting the canvas and the referee called a stop to the contest. With the win, Terrill successfully registered the first defense of his heavyweight title. He expressed the willingness to give Hunt a second opportunity to fight for the title to score a more conclusive victory.

KnuckleMania IV results: Todd Duffy's BKFC debut spoiled, six other fights end in T/KO

MMA veteran and BKFC heavyweight contender Ben Rothwell was hoping to earn a shot at the title with a win over fellow UFC veteran and BKFC debutant Todd Duffee at KnuckleMania IV. Rothwell had a good start and knocked Duffee down with a big punch a few seconds into the fight.

Duffee suffered another knockdown after the fight resumed but suffered a shoulder injury, prompting referee Dan Miragliotta to stop the contest. Rothwell was declared the winner by TKO, extending his BKFC winning streak to three. However, he expressed dissatisfaction with the manner of victory.

Elsewhere, Mexico's Alfredo Angulo, who made his BKFC debut intending to become the greatest Mexican fighter in the sport's history, made quick work of Jeremiah Riggs to score a Round 1 KO.

Riggs put a beating on Angulo until the knockout punch. Referee Mike Beltran waved off the fight after Riggs could not answer the 10-count.

Meanwhile, Crystal Pittman scored her second straight win when she knocked out Sydney Smith with a vicious punch at the 0:48 mark of Round 1. Daniel Alvare, Keith Richardson, and Tommy Aron scored T/KO wins over Victor Rosas, Cody Vidal, and Richard Brooks, respectively.
