Ahead of the go-home edition of Monday Night RAW before King and Queen of the Ring PLE, a 70-year-old WWE star has shared a message about the newest addition to the red brand's tag team division, The Authors of Pain.

The Final Testament faction was drafted to RAW last month but they have not yet made a mark. Karrion Kross was spotted backstage, teasing a future match against former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston. Paul Ellering has now mentioned AOP ahead of tonight's show.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Ellering dropped a cryptic message, potentially hinting at an ambush similar to what the faction carried out when they first appeared on WWE programming, as a unit in January.

"When my boys are good, they are good. But when my boys are bad, they are very good. @WWE @AlbanianPsycho @SunnyDhinsa #Raw #TFT," wrote Paul Ellering.

At the top of Monday night's tag team division sit R-Truth and The Miz, who won the World Tag Team Championship on the Grandest Stage of Them All last month in Philadelphia. It's not out of the realm of possibility that The Authors of Pain could begin their hunt for gold by going after Awesome Truth.

The Authors of Pain returned alongside Karrion Kross on WWE SmackDown: New Year's Revolution

On the January 5, 2024, episode of SmackDown, Karrion Kross returned to avenge his loss to Bobby Lashley in December. However, he was not alone. He brought reinforcements in the form of AOP, while Scarlett Bordeaux and Paul Ellering also joined as managers.

Ellering recently discussed his association with The Authors of Pain. He drew comparisons to the legendary tag team Legion of Doom, albeit explained why they are different. AOP had a four-year stint in the Stamford-based promotion prior to their return this year, between 2016 and 2020.

Meanwhile, Karrion Kross has once again expressed a desire to wrestle 16-time World Champion John Cena, who was last seen on the RAW After WrestleMania, competing in a six-man tag alongside Awesome Truth.

The Doom Walker even assured a fan online that he could turn Cena heel before the latter hung up his boots, calling time on his career in the wrestling industry. It remains to be seen when the Hollywood star resurfaces on television again.
