Former WWE writer Vince Russo feels Cody Rhodes being on SmackDown will hurt RAW's viewership.

The Draft continued this week on RAW, with both brands taking their picks from the eligible roster. However, there was a major twist this year when it was announced that the champions were not eligible for the Draft. This meant that Cody and Damian Priest would be on SmackDown and RAW, respectively, as the top champions for their brands.

This week on Legion of RAW, Russo detailed that the fans who tuned in to RAW to watch Cody Rhodes would stop watching.

"If people were tuning in to RAW to see Cody, now there's no reason for them to watch RAW anymore, right?"

The former WWE writer even ridiculed the whole concept of the Draft. He felt the company should have consistent storylines involving one roster flowing through both shows.

"Bro, this thing with this thing with this Draft and this split squads is so ridiculous and so stupid. Give me a 50-man and 50-woman roster, and it's one storyline from SmackDown to RAW, SmackDown to RAW, the way it used to be." [From 5:36 onwards]

The Draft is complete, and Cody Rhodes will be the top babyface for SmackDown. In fact, The American Nightmare is scheduled to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship in Backlash France this coming weekend.

It will be interesting to see if RAW can create major babyface stars in the absence of Cody.
