Nathaniel Clyne close to penning shock Manchester United move

Manchester United are set to sign Crystal Palace starlet Nathaniel Clyne when his contract expires this summer, and will throw in £2.5 million to avoid the clubs going to a tribunal for compensation.

United are currently putting the finishing touches to a pre-contract agreement for Clyne, that would see him join the Red Devils when his Palace contract expires in the summer, ending a six month pursuit for one of the Championship’s brightest prospects.
