Adnan Januzaj recently pledged his future to Manchester United.

The talented winger first made a case for first team selection with impressive performances in pre-season games. And after a brace against Sunderland which helped Man United get all three points, his stock sky-rocketed.

In an interview with Kosovo’s KTV, he said, “From the beginning I wanted to play to United and now I’ve got the chance. I am happy with the two goals [against Sunderland]. Reactions to those goals were very good, and I was happy with both strikes. I work hard in training, the manager gave me an opportunity and I managed to score the two goals.”

Januzaj’s contract runs till 2014 and Moyes will want to tie him down to a longer contract.

Commenting on the current season, Januzaj said, “I hope this season will be very good. I want to give the maximum for United and become the best player in the world. I am a United player and will give everything for United.”

He also spoke about how much of an impact Ryan Giggs has had on him, “I’m able to learn from Ryan Giggs because we play in the same positions. I often ask him questions. I also have a good relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson who gave me my initial opportunity against West Brom.”
