According to reports in the Spanish media, Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone is using the termination of the contract with Valencia circuit to aid next year’s New Jersey race.

Earlier it was reported that Ecclestone agreed to terminate the contract with Valencia without any financial penalties for the circuit. But now it is revealed that in return Ecclestone has negotiated to take possession of the circuit equipment to financially aid the New Jersey race.

The equipment includes more than 10 kilometers of fencing and barriers worth several million Euros and will be a big boost for the organisers of the inaugural New Jersey Grand Prix. However, the grand Prix is still not included in the calendar officially after the decision is still waiting for the circuit approval.
