The league period of the UBA Championship is almost at an end with four matches remaining. And the 11th day of the tournament witnessed a couple of thrilling and fate-deciding matches – Chennai Slam vs Bangalore Beast and Hyderabad Sky vs Pune Peshwas, respectively.

The first match, between Chennai Slam and Bangalore Beast, was a close call for Chennai Slam, which they won with a gasping end. The first quarter ended at 21-15 with Bangalore Beast leading. The second quarter was quite a fight, with both teams scoring equal points but Bangalore still sitting in the driver’s seat.

The second half of the match was quite a slow run for both teams with a mediocre third quarter, but the real fight was unleashed in the last quarter when Chennai came roaring back with some dangerous tactics. Star player Agu mesmerized the crowd with a few 3 pointers, hiking past the Chennai score with a go.

With one minute remaining in the game, Chennai were leading the game with 5 points; 59-54. Then the game took on a thrilling turn, where both the teams fought with everything they had to confirm their berth in the semi-finals. Finally, Chennai made 8 points and Bangalore 5, deciding the winner.
