Kobe Bryant's latest inspiration: A hunting cheetah

Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant is a genius on the basketball court. Genius brains some times do things that amaze us. They create magic in their work through years of hard work and a keen eye for detail. One day, Bryant was watching Discovery Channel on the television, and from then on his basketball improved. Although it sounds insane, that is exactly what happened.

In an interview with New York Times, Bryant said that he needed work on fadeaway jumper shots. “ When you watch me shoot my fadeaway jumper, you’ll notice my leg is always extended. I had problems making that shot in the past. It’s tough. So one day I’m watching the Discovery Channel and see a cheetah hunting. When the cheetah runs, its tail always gives it balance, even if it’s cutting a sharp angle. And that’s when I was like: My leg could be the tail, right?” Bryant said.

In a documentary releasing November, titled “Kobe’s Muse’, the NBA superstar will reveal everything minute of his life on and off the court. He will share every detail so that people understand him and youngsters gain inspiration from him. “Inspiration surrounds us,” Bryant adds.
