Satnam Singh Bhamara is an Indian basketball player who plays for the Indian basketball team and the IMG academy in Florida, U.S.A. He is 18 years and he hopes to become the first indian citizen to play in the NBA. Satnam Singh is from a small village in Punjab, and he has been training with the IMG academy since 2010. He is hoping to get a baketball scholarship to a college in the USA and then later to enter the NBA draft.
He left his village at the age of nine to go and play in the Ludhiana basketball academy. He was first noticed by Troy Justice, NBA’s senior director of international basketball operations, at the Ludhiana basketball academy. He was sent on a full sports scholarship to the IMG academy in Florida.
