Wasim Akram considered the greatest left-arm pacer of to have graced the game was a master at his art. His performance in the 1992 World Cup still remains one of the highlights of his glittering career. The way he tormented the English batsman in the final being a youngster in the team left everyone spell bound.

Bowling around the wicket the left arm speedster repeatedly swung the ball away from the batsman which was an unknown commodity till then. Many people still suggest it’s nearly impossible to swing the ball away from the batsman bowling from that angle but Wasim Akram was not any ordinary bowler.
