Lyca Kovai Kings fast bowler speaks about Lance Klusener's inputs

Lyca Kovai Kings fast bowler Harish Kumar spoke exclusively to the India Cements TN Premier League website after his team’s 11-run victory against the Chepauk Super Gillies at the India Cements Limited Ground, Sankarnagar, Tirunelveli, on Monday.

What was going on in your mind when they were scoring well in the powerplay?

They were playing well, but I believed in my strengths. I knew I was capable of picking up wickets and that’s how I bowled as well.

On Lance Klusener’s inputs...

He gives a lot of great inputs, which is apt for the team. If the team follows it correctly, we will definitely be successful.

What difference did you find in this wicket and Chepauk’s wicket?

This wicket is very slow compared to the Chepauk wicket. It slowed down after the previous game (between VB Thiruvallur Veerans and Ruby Kanchi Warriors).

What do you think about playing in the TN Premier League?

It is a very happy feeling. I like to play under pressure and deliver for my team. The approach and the platform is wonderful.

Antony Dhas and Gowjith Subhash almost took the game away..

Even then, the pressure was on them because we were successful in picking up wickets regularly. We also knew that we could turn the game by picking up wickets regularly. We just had to bowl according to a plan.
