Sachin, Anjali meet Federer over dinner

It was a rare moment when legend of one sport met the legend of another sport on the sidelines of the Wimbledon at the center court at All England Club. Batting Genius Sachin Tendulkar was present at the Wimbledon with his wife Anjali. Well, it was not the first time that Sachin visited the All England Club, but this occasion was something special. The plans of Sachin first got disclosed when Indian Tennis star Mahesh Bhupathi tweeted, “Roger Fed and @sachin_rt (Sachin Tendulkar) gonna meet today..heard it straight from the horses mouth here in the locker room.. :)”

Bhupathi’s tweet proved to be true when the little master met the Tennis legend Roger Federer after the latter’s match vs david Nalbandian got over. Anjali and Sachin were seen with Federer over dinner at the Royal box. Both stars were seen talking for almost an hour. The meeting was friendly and amicable. Later Sachin tweeted about his meeting with Roger,

Spent an hour with Roger Federer chatting on the balcony of Wimbledon Royal box. What a humble guy!

Sachin also shared the picture in which Sachin and Federer posed for the media photographers. Sachin also revealed that Federer knows a lot about cricket. The two stars also had dinner after the match.
