Why is Kamran Akmal Back in the Pakistan Team?

I must admit im a great admirer of most of the characteristics of Pakistani cricket with the fact that their unpredictability being one of my most cherished.For me they are like cobra’s for everyone knows their deadly when they strike,but they swing from side to side and no one quite knows when they will strike Though for the unpredictability of them that I cherish,the politics and constant division within the Team is what I absolutely abhor.The best times in regards to this was when they had a man that to be frank was more than just a mortal man in Imran Khan-the Team was united together as tight as a clinched fist.Most times outside of this you weren’t wandering if the politics and infighting would start, rather you were awaiting when it would happen.Until the revelation that has been the last 6 months under the Captaincy of Misbah ul Huq.Again unity in the group and not one story of infighting for the shameless Press to jump on and embellish in the extreme. So what has been the key behind Misbah being so successful in this regard?For though he is indeed a fine leader, he isn’t a patch on the regard that Imran Khan was held in in Pakistan and for that fact globally.In truth when Imran said jump,people said how high……To me the main reason for this new found unity is the man I see as the Cancer of Pakistan cricket in Kamran Akmal being gone.You remember the Kamran of the Sydney Test against Australia where he conspired through his bumbling keeping to help Pakistan lose an unloseable Test.A cynic in these times where you see the headline ‘Match Fixing’ grace most papers would think that was a classic case of it.Then every bit of dissension and furore after had one common element-Kamran Akmal!Even symbolically for me when the Pakistani trio of Aamer,Asif and Butt got accused of spot fixing in England- Kamran was the first man cleared.Call me cynic#2 but with Kamran being cleared so quickly don’t you find that more than a little suspicious?-In regards to him being a whistle blower on his mates to cover his own insidious actions?Then in the Desert when he’s replaced by Zulqarnain Haider and suddenly there’s claims of death threats made as Zulqarnain flees to London.Again Kamran in the team and all these bizarre and strangely insidious things happenSo forgive me for im not the smartest person on the planet,but why in Gods name is he back in the Pakistan Team?A team that just achieved their first Test series win in a good long time that was characterised by their unity,fight and support of each other.

Why would you invite back a man that is the epitome of a rotten apple to put amongst the good apples?His supporters will say, but Pakistan needs his abilities for the World Cup…..but id counter this by saying I wouldn’t care if he could bat like Don Bradman and bowl like Imran Khan if he upset the Team!For answer this Pakistan fans out there with you all brought to you knees through the scandals that have so plagued the Team when Kamran’s in it.

Which is more important for Pakistan-winning or the integrity of your Team that has been so achieved with Kamran out of the Team?
