Leeds - Rupesh Shah, the 39-year old from Ahmedabad, became the fifth Indian to lift World Billiards title twice as he defeated Australian Matthew Bolton 6-2 in the final (point frame), here Saturday.

Shah, who had won his first World title in 2007, and Bolton traded the opening four frames, but thereafter it was the Indian all the way as he went on to win the next four to emerge champion.

The turning point of the match came in the fifth frame when Bolton failed to clinch the game as he missed cannon on 148 and Shah pocketed the frame 150-148 for a 3-2 lead.

Thereafter, Shah, who had defeated big guns like Mike Russell and Peter Gilchrist in the previous two rounds, compiled breaks of 50, 116, 90 and 104 to win the next four frames for the match.
