Assassin’s Creed Unity new Time Anomaly trailer released

Time Anomaly takes the game to early 1930s or 1940s

Ubisoft have revealed a new trailer about Time Anomalies which shows the time changing events from the French Revolution to early 1930s or 1940s around the World War II. Ubisoft have been telling us that Assassin’s Creed Unity is set exclusively during the 1789 French Revolution in Paris, France. However, this new Assassin’s Creed Unity: Time Anomaly trailer makes us think where and when are they taking us to?

As the trailer’s name suggests, there’s some sort of anomaly in play that will port Arno into the future — or more specifically sometime during World War II (the zeppelins, subway train, fighter planes?). Ubisoft after modelling the Paris of 1789, couldn’t resist in building the Eiffel Tower into the game, so comes the Time Anomaly, where the assassin inevitably climbs the tallest structure in Paris and attacks the enemies from atop the tower with a mounted machine gun. It can be considered that the giant “V” on the Eiffel Tower most likely represents the “Vichy,” a French regime that collaborated with the Nazis during the war.

Fans really don’t know why Arno goes into the future? or Will he get to travel to some other time periods? Like say, Middle Ages? Ancient Roman times? or visit Dinosaurs?. The possibilities are endless and it will be extremely interesting to know what Ubisoft has in store for us.
