2K games have announced that BioShock Infinite: Complete Edition will hit the store shelves soon. Rather than presenting this in the form of a new series or DLC, the developers at 2K games have decided to re-release this promising classic, complete with the game itself and each of the released pieces of DLC. This will include both episodes of Burial at Sea, The Clash in the Clouds arena challenge mode, and the equipment that was part of the Early Bird Special and Columbia's Finest Packs.

Reports from CVG state that the release of the game has been confirmed by 2K, giving a launch window of "later this year", but the exact date is yet to be confirmed. However, Amazon Canada and GameStop have both posted listings online, with a release date of November 4 and price tag of $39.99

BioShock Infinite is the third game in Irrational's sci-fi shooter series, and is based in the city of Columbia. In his five-star 2013 review, the feature content director of Joystiq, Xav de Matos stated:

"Players won't draw blood from enemies for quite some time when they arrive in Columbia, a world established and ruled by a figure known as Father Zachary Comstock. Rather, DeWitt and the player are introduced to the technology and ideals that power the city as they move across it’s interlocking sections; and as gorgeous as the world of Columbia is, it's a horribly grotesque place. DeWitt learns that the city is fuelled by racism, misplaced loyalty and morbid patriotism, and it quickly becomes a joy to know the game will eventually allow him to pull it down from the sky, arrogant brick by brick."
