The game was scheduled to release on September 3, 2014, but due to some technical difficulties the game had to delayed until mid-September.
Developer Arrowhead has suggested that the delay is due to fine-tuning of the game for PC, reports IGN. The rumored date for release has now been set for September 23, 2014.
A special gift in the form of a digital item will be given to the people who pre-ordered the game. Gauntlet was first released by Atari in 1985 and it belongs to the hack and slash genre.
