New survival maps and story in the First Alien: Isolation DLC that will be coming out on Oct 28

The first of five DLC expansions have been revealed by Sega and Creative Assembly for their survival horror game Alien: Isolation that is titled “ Corporate Lockdown”, the DLC will be providing three new maps for the game’s survival mode, along with this there will be an extra story element and a new game mode. The new elements will be giving players a different perspective on the universe of Aliens : Isolation.

Corporate Lockdown will be placing the players into the shoes of a Seegdon Executive named Ransome, who is stuck on Sevastopol Station prior to the events of he game. “On discovering that he’s been abandoned by his paymasters and aware that the Torrens is on the way, he decides to hitch a ride and escape, taking with him valuable decoded Nostromo data. Before he does this, however, there are still a few loose ends he wants to tidy up…”

The three new maps that are added will be playable as a part of this expansion, which is known as Severance, Scorched earth and Loose Ends. Each of these maps will have its own optional objectives to be completed for extra points. Players cab then decide whether they want to rush through the map for the best time, or try for the most points as they go on to complete with other players to reach the top of the leaderboards.

There is newly added part of the Corporate Lockdown that is the Gauntlet mode. It takes the premise of Survival Mode which makes it even more difficult and the mode makes the players run through al three new maps without dying once and simply completing the objective will be tough.

This expansion will be available from October 28th for PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 and PC. It can also be purchased separately or as part of the Alien: Isolation Season Pass, which will give players all five expansions. The next four DLC’s are titled Trauma, Safe Haven, Lost Contact, and The Trigger.
