Mac now wants GTA 5

After Xbox One, PS4 and PC, Mac users have now started demanding Grand Theft Auto 5.

Their previous edition Grand Theft Auto 4, was not made available for Mac OS. But, Grand Theft Auto 3, which launched in 2001, was available for Mac as well as other Apple devices such as the iPhone, iPad and iPad Mini. 2004’s Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is also available for the same devices.

Reports in MacWorld had hinted that there won't be any Mac edition for GTA 5, due to capacity issues. In their June edition, they were also of the view that Mac users weren't that much into gaming. “It doesn’t seem fair, but developers go where the money is, and the average Mac user is less into gaming, and hardcore gaming in particular, than the average PC user."

Amongst desktop and laptop users Mac is amongst the top five most used operating systems. The Apple product has an estimated 7.38 percent of the market share (in desktop and laptops).
