This will be India’s inaugural hosting of an FEI CST two-star (2*) event, sanctioned by the Asian Equestrian Federation (AEF), featuring U21 Regional Group III international competitions in Show Jumping and Dressage.

Additionally, it includes two Para-Dressage National Events. Alongside these, there will be three selection trials each for Dressage, Jumping, and Eventing to determine the Indian team for the upcoming FEI Asian Continental Championships in Pattaya, Thailand, scheduled for December 2025.

The 2024-25 season kicks off on August 11 with the Sapta Shakti Horse Show in Jaipur. Following that, the AEF U21 Show Jumping competition is slated for October 12-13 while the Dressage meet will unfold at the Army Polo and Riding Cente from November 28 to December 1.

“We want to give as much exposure to riders as possible” - Equestrian Federation of India Secretary General

While unveiling the season calendar, EFI Secretary General Col. Jaiveer Singh stated that the 2024-25 season will help Indian riders in gaining a lot of exposure through the 41 events scheduled.

"We have been showing remarkable progress on the international stage in the last few years and EFI is determined to build on our success in the 2022 Asian Games, where we won a gold and one bronze,” said EFI Secretary General Col. Jaiveer Singh.
We want to now focus on building a strong supply line of riders and also try and win as many medals at the Asian Continental Championships next year. Therefore, there are many new events in this season's calendar as we want to give as much exposure to riders as possible," he added.

The selection trials for the FEI Asian Continental Championships kick off with Show Jumping at TARC Centre on December 7. Trials for all three categories will extend over a period of four months.

Furthermore, the Equestrian Federation of India will organize Show Jumping, Dressage, and Tent Pegging events for Sub Junior, Junior, and Young Riders categories. Notably, the top 10 riders in Tent Pegging will be eligible for consideration for the AEF U21 Tent Pegging International event, scheduled in Marc 2025 in Mumbai.
