The Hague, Nov 2 Eredivisie league leaders PSV Eindhoven registered their ninth victory of the Dutch football season with a 1-0 win over ADO Den Haag.

PSV suffered a double blow in the first half hour Saturday night. First, Jetro Willems left with a head injury in the 29th minute and then Jorrit Hendrix received his second yellow card for a foul on Michiel Kramer after a disastrous goal kick by PSV goal keeper Jeroen Zoet, reports Xinhua.

The home-team dominated ADO from the start, and even with ten against eleven PSV had the best chances. Georginio Wijnaldum hit the post on the stroke of half-time. In the first half an hour Memphis Depay had already hit the crossbar.

Four minutes into the second half, Depay became match winner. The Dutch international finished a cross by Luciano Narsingh.

PSV have won all six home matches this season and conceded no goals in the last five.

"Even with ten men against eleven we kept the faith to win the match," PSV coach Phillip Cocu said.

"Everyone was more than pleased with the outcome. And rightly so. This is an important victory on the way to maybe something nice this year."

PSV kept their four-point lead over Ajax and are now on 27 points from eleven matches. Ajax (23) are in second place ahead of Feyenoord (20) and FC Twente (18).
