Best League in Europe

Of course i am a fan of I-League which is the best league in the world for me :). But the best league in Europe is surely the EPL and here is why. The ingredients needed for a good league are: best players, unpredictability, exciting matches.

English Premier League best in the Europe ?

Best players – I think the Spanish league edges this, the best players play in Spain although most of them are at just 2 clubs, the 2 best players in the world play in Spain. Followed by England, Italy then Germany.

Exciting matches - This is the strength of the English league over the other top leagues. The EPL is fast paced, action packed and there is always a fantastic atmosphere at each match. Second place goes to Spain then Germany, finally Italy

Unpredictability – The German league has the greatest unpredictability but I only know this because I have read about it rather than sit through a boring Bundesliga match, followed by the EPL, Italy and the 2 horse race that is La Liga.

Imagine the EPL with just Man City and Arsenal challenging for the title and loads of other teams like Wigan challenging for everything else and you have La Liga.

German football lacks the financial clout to hold onto its best players. For example the precocious young Ozil just got absorbed into a Real Madrid side full of other talent.

The Italian league is simply in decline and fans around the globe want to see fast football not catenaccio tactics.
