According to the Lancashire Telegraph, the I-League may be all set to welcome Blackburn Rovers striker Edinho for the rest of the season.
The summer signing may join Indian side Shillong Lajong on loan for the rest of the season. The 18-year old Brazilian was signed from SC Olhanense, but has had only one first team start. Edinho was signed in 2012 for an undisclosed fee on a three-year contract.
Edinho made his way up the youth ranks of the Portugal first division and was given a trial at the English club. He was signed along with other Portuguese players, striker Nuno Gomes and winger Fabio Nunes.
If the deal for Edinho is agreed between the teams, then he will join recent departees Diogo Rosado and Paulo Jorge on their way out of the club.
