Brazil have jumped to the ninth place in the latest edition of the FIFA World Rankings.

Brazil crushed Spain 3-0 in the FIFA Confederations Cup Final and they won all five matches of the competition, which helped them to collect 223 points and thus jump 13-places in the July edition of the rankings.

However, Spain have still managed to hold on to the top spot, ahead of Germany, with 1532 points. Columbia have climbed four places to a personal best of third rank while Belgium (10th) have managed to enter the top ten for the first time in their history.

England, on the other hand, have suffered an embarrassing slump as Roy Hodgson’s side have plunged to 15th in the world rankings, their lowest since 2008.
