Atletico Paranaense a first division club in Brazil has shown interest in signing FC Goa midfielder Romeo Fernandes. A letter of interest has been sent to Dempo sports club, Romeo’s parent club who loaned him to FC Goa for the ISL.
In the letter, Atletico Paranaense has shown interest in loaning him from January 1st, 2015 to December 31st, 2015. FC Goa coach Zico was the man behind the deal because he convinced Atletico Paranaense to sign Romeo.
He has been outstanding so far in the ISL, having scored 3 goals including the 100th goal, and winning 3-man of the match awards. If Romeo agrees to go to Atletico Paranaense he will be training with the first team and he will be guaranteed playing time, which will be great for his development.
Five of Atletico Paranaense players are currently playing in the ISL, the players are Gustavo Dos Santos, Pedro Gusmao, Bruno Pelissari, Erwin Spitzner and Guilherme Batata.
