Delhi Soccer Association football summer coaching camp to end on the 28th of June

The month-long camp was held to scout talent for the future

The Finale of the month long DSA Annual Summer Coaching camp for boys and girls in the age group of 8 to 18 years will be held on Sunday, June 28 at 4pm at the Dr. Ambedkar Stadium, New Delhi. The Delhi Soccer Association (DSA) has organised this coaching camp in various age groups (8 to 18 years) for promising children, boys and girls, at the Ambedkar Stadium from May 16 under the guidance of expert coaches and spotters, to shortlist players for future programmes of the DSA.

The camp was inaugurated by Mahabali Satpal and NIS chief coach Biru Mal on May 16. As many as 150 budding and upcoming players took part in the more than a month long summer coaching camp under the guidance of eminent qualified coaches.

With India all set to host the 2017 FIFA Under-17 World Cup, the game has got a big boost in the country, and the DSA camp was an apt opportunity for promising talents to hone their skills by fruitfully utilizing their summer vacation for a bright future in the game, as soccer offers tremendous potential in the country

Those shortlisted by the DSA from the summer camps will be considered for selection for the Delhi teams for various age group National championships across the country, which will open up a window of opportunity for the young talent to showcase their talent.

The DSA camps were conducted by qualified and reputed coaches, who kept a keen eye to spot ability, strengths and weaknesses of each player. Eminent coaches imparting training to the budding children includes former internationals including NIS coach and AFC licence coaches in Biru Mal, Tarun Roy, Anandi Barua, Bachi Ram, Jagdish Chandra, Julius Ceaser, Fardeen Qureshi, Sanjay, Ritu Raj and more.

Prominent sports promoting establishments in ONGC, SAIL, Coca-Cola, COSCO India, Shiv Naresh are the official partners of the camp.
