On Sunday the biggest neighborhood rivalries in English football will be reignited as three mouth watering clashes unravel in the Premier League.

Sunderland v Newcastle (1730 IND )

Steve Bruce had to apologize to the fans the last time these two Geordies’ met and his team is eager to gain revenge over Newcastle at home. Sunderland were handed a 5-1 Halloween drubbing in the reverse fixture this season but fortunes have changed since and they lie 6 TH in the table, two places ahead of the Toons.

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew will have his first taste of the Tyne-Wear derby and his team will look to complete a historic double over their neighbours.

Striker Andy Carroll has not recovered in time but Pardew is hopeful that Shola Ameobi can fill gap left by the giant striker.Chiek Tiote is suspended due to his sending off at Stevenage last week.

Captain Lee Cattermole and DAnny Welbeck are doubtful for Sunderland but Titus Bramble is set to feature.

Liverpool v Everton (1935 h IND )

The Mersyside derby will see the return of ‘King’ Kenny Dalglish to Goodison park to face his familiar Scottish compatriot Dayid Moyes after 20 years.Expect the referee to be in the Spotlight because tempers tend to flair in this fixture.Liverpool have only won two away fixtures out of 13 and they will be scarred by the defeat at Blackpool on Wed.The Reds are a better footballing tram than the league suggests but will face a tough task to turnover a Tim Cahill less Everton side.Everton haven’t won at Anfield since 1999 but this time around both the teams are tied on points having played the same number of games.Team News
