Violent clashes between fans in South American stadium is a common sight. But Argentine club Independiente’s fans went one better by throwing tables and chairs on the club president Javier Cantero, who was speaking during a public address following a season to forget.
If a bad season wasn’t reason enough for the fans’ frustration, the club president indicated the money situation was tight and thus there won’t be much for transfers next season.
By the reaction of the fans, it is safe to say they didn’t like what they heard.
